16 June 2006NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR APPOINTED AT AQUA CARE
SIMON Booth has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Aqua Care, the heating, plumbing and drainage division of Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water.
Mr Booth, 37, joins Aqua Care from Chubb Fire where he was Director and General Manager, responsible for a division with a £12 million turnover and employing 120 staff.
Previously he held senior management posts with a number of blue chip organisations, gaining extensive knowledge and experience within the financial and telecommunications sectors.
Mr Booth is Aqua Care’s first MD and his appointment is expected to lead to an expansion of the business which was founded in 1998 and now employs 55 staff with a £3.3 million annual turnover.He said: “I believe Aqua Care is an exciting and dynamic business with a great future. I look forward to playing my part in realising the potential that undoubtedly exists.”
Married with two children, Mr Booth lives at Verwood, Dorset. He will be based at Aqua Care’s main offices in Christchurch.
